Belly Dance is a Middle Eastern dance that focus on isolating different parts of the body, moving them independently in sensual patterns, weaving together the entire feminine form.
Our 6-week belly dance course will teach the Classic Egyptian Belly Dance. As far as exercise is concerned, the dance is low impact and involves stretching, strengthening and developing the muscles, especially those in the abdomen and thorax, and helps develop good posture. The dance can be as vigorous or as gentle as you want to make it, so it is suitable for all age groups and physical abilities.
The classes will teach the techniques of the movements and steps, building up from the basics and gradually adding new moves every week and finally developing into choreographies.
Attire: Workout/Gym wear; barefoot. We recommend you wear something closer to the body so the instructor and you can observe your body movements.
